Baseball and wherever the mind goes

So I don't know about everyone else but I really had no interest in the World Series. I believe I can narrow down why that is and clear my own head. Of course a sweep did not help but there are other reasons:

1) The schedule of the playoffs-
a. As with other sports they milk the playoffs to get as much ad revenue as possible
b. This leads to many days when baseball isn't even played and it's easy to forget the days they play.
c. This also leads to a potential where a team or teams can be sitting for a week or more waiting to play thus breaking the continuity of their play and my viewing.

2) Game times -
a. Regular season games take around 3 hours where many of the playoff and WS games lasted in excess of 4 hours. If I was anywhere but the west coast I wouldn't be able to stay up to watch (news flash--I didn't anyway).
b. Saturday at 5pm pacific??? Start the thing at 1pm pacific 4pm est. This is how baseball is shown during the season so why not during playoffs? Oh, sorry, ad revenue....

So I thought I had more breakdown but that is sufficient for my worn out head. Oh, one more thing...I CANNOT STAND THE RED SOX!!!

A month and not a lot

So I haven't posted anything in a while and don't have any "rants" but rather suggestions of time management wastefulness, or in other words: TV. I will list shows you should be watching instead of reading a book, doing yardwork, cleaning the house, doing laundry, exercising, getting a haircut, working, giving your kids a bath, feeding your family, taking free money from the door to door money giving guy.... Anyway, if you watch a bit of TV and aren't watching these give them a shot. A lot of them you can watch on the network websites.

Simpsons (I don't get to watch much but always great!) - FOX

Shark - CBS (really just a fluff show but fun sometimes)

Desperate Housewives - ABC
Private Practice - ABC
Cavemen - ABC
Any CSI - CBS
Any other comedy other than well...any comedy on CBS
Any other Drama on ABC

I know that there are other shows and I can't think of all of them but these are my perfectly correct opinions.. Ha ha. So I know ABC is supposed to be the network of #1's but their lineup is completely horrible except Lost. In my opinion the bottom network of opinion but tops in mine is NBC. They have the greatest comedies and some other good shows. Biggest loser was a joke in here in case that went by you, I watch it but, I think it's a crack up some times and sometimes people actually do something entertaining. Oh, but DVR this because the "drama" is killer, in a bad way.
